Transcultural Nursing Society Mentorship Program

The Transcultural Nursing Society (TCNS) is committed to fostering meaningful professional growth among its members. As part of this commitment, the TCNS Mentorship Program connects members in supportive, purposeful partnerships that advance culturally and linguistically congruent care across global settings.

To participate as a mentor or mentee, you must be a current, active member of the Transcultural Nursing Society. Please review the criteria outlined below to determine your eligibility.

The next mentorship cohort will launch in Spring 2026, with mentor–mentee pairs selected for this group. Additional cohorts will be offered as TCNS continues to assess and respond to member needs.

An information session was held to introduce the program, and the presentation video is available below.

Application Timeline

• Mentor and Mentee Applications Open: January 2026

The goals and duration of each mentoring partnership will be collaboratively determined by the mentor and mentee. At the conclusion of the program, both participants will complete a brief survey to help TCNS strengthen and refine the mentorship experience.
